Patriots vs. Seahawks: Final Reaction, Highlights from Super Bowl 2015 Media Day
For all intents and purposes, Super Bowl media day is an enormous waste of time.
Of the thousands of media members who attend the event on a yearly basis, a small percentage asks meaningful questions. That said, it's all wildly entertaining.
I mean, guys show up like this:
Don't fret if you missed media day when it was live. You didn't miss anything super important. You can catch up on some highlights from the event below if you're curious.
New England Patriots

If there was a winner of Super Bowl Media Day, it was New England. The Patriots brought their best personalities to the various stages at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Rob Gronkowski isn't a stranger to non-football headlines. Naturally, he was a popular figure Tuesday. One media member asked him to read a book at the podium—a book about himself:
That wasn't the only art form he performed at media day. In exchange for an Xbox One, Gronk was asked to show off his pipes to the tune of Katy Perry:
Perry is, of course, performing with Lenny Kravitz during the halftime show.
Running back LeGarrette Blount was also approached about Perry. His response was succinct, but many men around the globe probably feel the same. Troy Renck of The Denver Post provided the quote via Twitter:
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is known for his stoic, often nonchalant approach to coaching. That's not to say he doesn't care, but he gives off that vibe. There were points at media day when he did a complete 180. He smiled. He laughed. He even talked about stuffed animals:
The biggest star of media day was none other than Tom Brady. He spoke about his hair, his kids and his game plan heading into the Super Bowl. And you could say a few people were on hand to listen:
Brady is the most essential star for the Pats on Super Bowl Sunday. The offense goes as he goes. Blount is the next-most important, as even a so-so running game will keep the Seattle Seahawks honest.
Seattle Seahawks

Don't get it twisted—the Seahawks had plenty of fun too.
Michael Bennett was by far the most comedic. When asked about his experiences with Seattle, Bennett was short and sweet.
"I'm thankful I'm not with the Bucs," he said, via Gregg Bell of The News Tribune. But that's not the only headline Bennett made.
Naturally, Deflategate was a topic of discussion. Bennett answered the only way he knew how—with comedy:
The best answer of the day went to Seattle's All-Pro corner. Richard Sherman is a scholar. He is a graduate of Stanford University, and he won't take any of your silly questions. He'll only answer the good ones:
"I hope the line of questioning has improved for #SBMediaDay http://t.co/0VVePs82vs
— Lizzuendo (@Lizzs_Lockeroom) January 27, 2015"
Sherman will be watched closely by Brady and the viewers at home due to the arm injury he suffered in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers. He went through a week of practice with the elbow this week, though. Rest assured he'll suit up Sunday.
Media day cannot be covered in full without discussing Marshawn Lynch. Lynch doesn't like the media. We know that.
The NFL made sure he showed up at media day, though, by threatening to fine him $500,000. Lynch wasn't fined. He showed up and answered questions, but he used the same response to each prompt. SportsCenter's Twitter account logged his press conference:
Lynch's lack of care in these situations has infuriated reporters for years. It'll be interesting to see if he talks following the Super Bowl if his team comes out on top.
