Super Bowl Commercials 2015: Updated Ad Info, Prop Bets and Movie Trailer Debuts
NFL fans have a better chance of getting answers from Marshawn Lynch than unearthing movie trailers that will air on Super Bowl Sunday.
Trailers, unlike commercials released early, are something companies continue to keep secret on the path to the 2015 Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
Which is fine, really. The global audience seems split on the idea of seeing Super Bowl ads early, a new strategy companies continue to work on as the importance of social media continues to increase.

Recent Ad Info and Movie Trailers

Super Bowl ads are everywhere. Seriously.
Kim Kardashian West is predictably in on the action with a humorous T-Mobile commercial:
Now, before unveiling anymore, put into perspective just how much companies are willing to shell out for a brief slot of viewer's attention during the big game.
According to Mike Ozanian of Forbes, a 30-second spot costs $4.5 million. Notable players in this year's Super Bowl who represent a lower cap hit than that number for a full season's work in 2014, per Spotrac, include:
- Michael Bennett
- Richard Sherman
- Doug Baldwin
- Russell Wilson
- LeGarrette Blount
- Sebastian Vollmer
- Julian Edelman
Oh, and up that 30 seconds to a full minute? The cost creeps to $9 million.
Anyway, NFL greats Brett Favre, Emmitt Smith, Terrell Owens, Larry Allen and Franco Harris are in on the action with a Wix.com commercial:
Lynch, apparently, opens up when asked the right questions too. Progressive cracks the code:
Movie stars are in on the costly ads, of course. Pierce Brosnan takes a trip down memory lane as James Bond in a new Kia commercial:
Finally, the usual suspects, such as Doritos, are back with more creativity to amuse the masses:
As far as movie trailers go, studios are keeping impending blockbuster ads under wraps. That said, Joel Amos of Movie Fanatic suggests that Entourage, Ted 2, Fantastic Four and Spectre could all see ads during the big game.
One film sure to pop up is Jurassic World, according to Aurora Banks of KPop Starz.
Rest assured that many surprises are on the way, as most companies, stars and movie studios remain silent until the big day.
Top Prop Bet: Total Passing Yards, Tom Brady—Over/Under 260.5
Get a load of this—observers can not only be entertained by the game, ads and movie trailers, they can also make some coin based on the happenings.
Casual bettors may gravitate toward bets surrounding the halftime performance and coin toss, among other things. A bit of research goes a long way in arming bettors with the knowledge necessary to find success on in-game props too.
Look at the over/under on passing yards by Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Easy cash, really. Brady has surpassed that mark nine times this season, including the postseason. All nine came after the team's putrid four-game stretch to start the season, meaning he is still in form and has hit the mark nine times in 14 tries.
While Richard Sherman and the Seahawks tout an elite pass defense, this is Brady, who tends to shine on such a stage, as NFL Network's Jeff Darlington points out:
The stigma of the Seahawks shutting down Peyton Manning last year in the big game sticks, sure, but even Manning threw for 280 yards.
Brady believes there is something to be said for a bit of insider knowledge gleaned from former Seahawks corner Brandon Browner too, who joined the team this past offseason, per NFL Network:
It is obvious Brady is motivated for such a big game. Another factor to consider, though, is his sheer aggressive nature now that there is a chip on his shoulder over the Deflategate scandal.
"I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me and my feelings got hurt, and then I moved past it because it's not serving me," Brady said on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com.
For a player of Brady's caliber and the surrounding circumstances, Las Vegas seems on the low end in terms of yardage. Causal and veteran bettors can take full advantage.
