Buffalo Bills: Watch Back Up Tyler Thigpen Get Hit in the Face with the Ball

Tyler Thigpen shows us why he's a back up in Week 8 of the NFL season against the Washington Redskins.
While on the sidelines Thigpen was told he may have to come in because quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick took a shot to the ribs. It looked like Fitzpatrick was going to come out of the game. While Thigpen was warming up he was hit in the face with a ball.
The video for this hilarious moment can be seen here.
Luckily he had his helmet on, but he showed the coaching staff that he couldn't exactly be trusted with the game on the line.
Fitzpatrick toughed it out and he came back onto the field so Thigpen remained on the sidelines.
This confidence in the back up reminded me of the situation in Indianapolis. When Peyton Manning went down the team did not have a good backup and they are now 0-8.
Manning and the Colts showed us that one player actually can make a team, and it would just be scary to see Thigpen on the field.
If the Colts are 0-8 with the talent they have, including Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon and Joseph Addai, I can't even imagine what would happen to the Bills. It would literally become Fred Jackson's team.
Let's just hope that Thigpen never has to take the field, or we might not get to see the Bills blow it in the Super Bowl again.
