The tight end position cannot be overlooked in fantasy football. Antonio Gates and a few other tight ends are ready for standout games this week.

The tight ends are going to be difference-makers this week.

Here are three tight ends that will play key roles if a win is on the horizon.

Antonio Gates

Antonio Gates is about to get his second straight start. The Chargers have a huge mismatch using Gates, who is as athletic as most receivers.

His presence is a boost for the Chargers.

Last season against the Chiefs, Gates had five catches for 76 yards and one touchdown.

Jason Witten

Jason Witten is one of Tony Romo’s favorite options on offense and guess what: The Eagles have an extremely poor defense.

Witten will find many matchups that are in his favor.

Witten is averaging 15 fantasy points.

Romo uses Witten to get down the field, but he needs to realize that he can finish the drives with Witten also.

Witten will grab scores. Kitna utilized him in the red zone and now Romo needs to also.

Jared Cook

The Indianapolis Colts let up 62 points last week. This means one simple thing: The defense is in absolute shambles and it is time to capitalize on that with fantasy football.

Jared Cook grabbed a touchdown last week and he is more than likely to grab a pair this week against the Colts.

Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is primed for a big game and this means that his receivers will, too.

Let the fantasy rampage of the Colts begin. The Colts are not going to be able to turn things around until their life force, Peyton Manning, is back.
