NFL Picks Week 4: 5 Teams That You Can Bank on Winning by Double-Digits

Brian MaziqueOct 2, 2011

In Weeks 1 and 2, there were eight games decided by 10 or more points. In Week 3, there was much more parity, only four games had a plus-10 margin of victory.

One major reason for this is that there were seven division games in Week 3 compared to only four in Week 1 and none in Week 2.

In Week 4, there are no division games. The larger victory margins should return.

Buzz on Sorsby's Draft Value 🔢

Here are five teams that will grab double-digit victories this week.

New Orleans Saints

The Saints offense is the best in the NFL in my opinion. Jacksonville will not be able to keep pace and this will lead to a comfortable win for the Saints on the road in Jacksonville.

New York Giants

The Giants offense has begun to find itself even amidst the injuries at receiver. In the absence of Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham, Victor Cruz has emerged and Eli Manning is throwing it to the backs for healthy gains.

Also, Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora are expected to play. The Giants should handle the Cards.

San Diego Chargers

The Chargers should continue their feast on the winless. They have already beaten Minnesota and Kansas City, all 0-3. Now the Dolphins come to San Diego with that same record. The Chargers are catching a major scheduling break as they get the ship in order. They should win by 10 or more.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers are hosting the Broncos and the offense should be on full blast for the Pack. The Broncos don't have an offensive identity and don't have a running game to slow the Packers pass-rush or take the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hands. Double-digit win for Green Bay.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have the privilege of hosting the Colts on Monday night. The Colts are playing with effort, I'll give them that but the Indy collapse makes it appear as though Peyton Manning has been the league's MVP for the past six seasons. Bucs by more than 10.
