NFC EAST: Who's Top Dog?

The toughest NFL division is the NFC East. Let me break down NFC Eastern teams for this season.

Washington Redskins- A new Coach and a healthy Campbell under center.  This looks like it's about to get ugly.  Jason Campbell is a very good QB ( I am not willing to call him a great just yet) and can really put some zip into his throw's, take a look at his pre-season stats. 

In the event that Campbell and his offense aren't able to move the ball, Jason Taylor, LaRon Landry, and London Fletcher are pretty capable of making big plays for the defense to potentially put up 7 points on the board.  The Redskins made a few changes to their roster this off season and are looking to be one of the teams that make it hard to compete in the NFC. 

Dallas Cowboys- A roster full of stud's, good player's, playmaker's...whatever you want to call them.  The fact of the matter is that this team has made it to the playoff's and done nothing.  Much like the Philadelphia Eagles, who make the playoff's and get knocked out (Philly always got knocked out in the NFC Championship games 2001-2004/05). 

Don't get me wrong, Romo and Owens are one of the biggest QB/WR threat's in the league right now.  But, I don't feel that Romo will be able to lead this team to the big dance this season.  I think his time is comingsoon, I'll give it 2 more season's and this NFC East team will get over the playoff drought and make the Super Bowl. 

New York Giants- Who the hell would have thought that the Int prone, always getting boo-ed, QB Eli Manning would lead his team to the Super Bowl?....AND WIN IT?...I sure as hell didn't.  This team simply know's how to make "clutch" play's and they displayed it last season.  While not having Strahan, Mr. Umenyiora must show up big, and believe me..he will.

Look for the G-Men to make a decent run this season.  Consecutive SuperBowl's?, probably not.  A decent season nonetheless.

Philadelphia Eagles-A franchise that has been to the playoff's, and one SuperBowl under Andy Reid.  They mark their spot in the NFC East, and adding Asante Samuel only make's them scarier.  BUT will B-Dawkbe able to put up a good defensive game against top WR's?, will D-Mac stay healthy?, will our young LB corp be able to contain the league's top runner's?, will Kevin Curtis prove that he's a deep threat?, will Shawn Andrew's get his head together?, will DeSean Jackson be a good return man?...

These are all the question's that linger within this Philadelphia Eagles franchise at the moment.  If you ask me, I think the answer to most of those question's are a yes.  Time will only tell what will happen with this Eagles franchise this season.
