Peyton Manning and Colts Defense Did All the Talking on the Field
Though the outcome of the Colts v Jets game was predictable, no one (except you live in NY) thought Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez could actually put up a fight and make it look like they could have actually pull it off.
But that was the first half and the second half story was completely different. The Jets put up a good fight but Manning and the Colts were just too good.
I’ll give it to Rex Ryan, the game plan to take out Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark was brilliant. But, I would have just done what the Saints did and take out the quarterback (Read; The Vikings handed the Saints an NFC Championships and a road map to the SuperBowl ) and force the Colts to beat you with the running game.

But Manning was left to pick apart the Jets league leading defense throwing to Pierre Garcon for 151 yards and Austin Collie for 123 yards.
Manning is great no question but it was the Colts defense that was very impressive against the best rushing offense in the League, in my picks article before the game (Read: Conference Championships – A-List Picks ) I said;
“The Colts defense might not be flashy or even that entertaining but they are the most productive squad still in the competition (Better than the Jets) — I know, am crazy.
But we all seem to forget the year the Colts won the Super Bowl Manning throw for three TD's and seven INT's in the playoffs. They won on their defense and a running game every one thought didn’t exist.”
So I am 8-2 with the Colts win and the Vikings loss, thought I’d do better than last year’s 9-2 record. Well I still have the Superbowl to pick.
