Who would have guessed that the Cowboys would beat the Saints at home this week? Not many people! Everyone I talked to expected, like everyone else, the Saints to beat the Cowboy and the Giants to have a close game with the Redskins. Well this weekend is long gone and none of that happened. The Cowboys won and the Giants blew out Washington. The big question now is, do the Giants have a chance at the playoffs?

I think they do. The Eagles already clinched, so now it is down to the two wild card spots, and the Giants are only one game behind the Cowboys. The Giants have a very winnable game with Carolina this week (Week 16), and the Cowboys are playing the Redskins. All we can hope for as Giants fans, is that Washington put up a good fight and gets lucky in the end and wins the game. For Week 17, the Cowboys have to play the Eagles and in my opinion there is no way they win that game. The Giants have to play a very tough team in Minnesota, but I do not think that they have anything to play for and the Giants should come away with that game. Assuming the Giants win the rest of their games and the Cowboys lose a game or two, I think the Giants will be in the playoffs, and you never know they might even go far.

Fantasy Factor

  • The Giants defense looked very good last week, so look to play them again and get around 10 to 15 points out of them.
  • Eli Manning had an outstanding week with 42 points. Look to start him and expect a big output from him in a must win game against a not very good Carolina pass defense.
  • Bradshaw also have a good week with two touchdowns. Look for him to have a decent Week 16 and again have the short yard touchdowns.
  • In my opinion I would start the whole New York Giants team because they will all be playing with everything they have in them for a must win game.
