Some top quality teams fell this week. Well, they at least lost. LSU somehow avoided the fall and moved up a spot from No. 9 to No. 8 in the BCS.

The teams behind the Texas and the Alabama/Florida combo keep dancing around each other in the standings. This week, TCU replaces Iowa in the four-team playoff. GA Tech capitalized on the Oregon loss and sneaked into the eight-team playoff.

Despite losses in conference by Iowa and Oregon last week, those two teams are still headed for a collision in the Rose Bowl. The Iowa-Ohio State game next week and the Oregon-Arizona game the following week will be conference-deciding games, presuming those four teams take care of business otherwise.

The makeup of the larger playoffs has not changed, except for a few positioning moves. Houston, Utah, and now Miami are trying to make their way into consideration for these playoffs as well as at-large BCS eligibility.

The list of playoffs changes only a little as the regional playoff edged Tyler's playoff by two votes.

The Poll

If you have proposals that you'd like displayed next week, then link to them or describe them in the comments section. Up to two may be added for each new iteration of this series.

Each week, there will also be a poll for whichever proposal makes the most sense. The playoff with the least amount of support may not appear next week, at my discretion.

Enjoy the playoffs below, given in an order considering last week's vote.
