Knicks Rumors: Jeff Hornacek May Be Replaced by Doc Rivers or Mark Jackson
As the New York Knicks prepare to close out another disappointing season, head coach Jeff Hornacek may not be back with the team.
Per Marc Berman of the New York Post, there is a "feeling around the league" that New York's front office will replace Hornacek, with Doc Rivers and Mark Jackson named as potential options to take over.
The Knicks hired Hornacek in June 2016, and he proceeded to go 31-51 in his first season with the team. This season, there have been issues behind the scenes.

Hawks and Knicks Scuffle in Blowout
Per Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Hornacek shoved Joakim Noah during an altercation at a practice in January that led to Noah being placed on indefinite leave.
Berman noted Trey Burke waved off Hornacek's request for a timeout at the end of regulation in Monday's overtime loss against the Charlotte Hornets.
In addition to New York's problems off the court, Hornacek has struggled to turn things around on it. The Knicks enter their seven remaining games at 27-48, their fifth straight year with a losing record.
Rivers is currently serving as head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. He played parts of three seasons with the Knicks from 1992-94.
Jackson hasn't coached in the NBA since the Golden State Warriors fired him after the 2013-14 season. He was a first-round pick by the Knicks in 1987 and played seven seasons with the franchise.
