Landry Comments on Williams Block

"If I could take that hit back, I would," Landry said, per Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald. "The guy has a family to feed, and this is his livelihood. You never want to see that with anybody."

Williams Dealing with Familiar Injury

Williams has been stifled by injuries throughout his career. He hasn't appeared in all 16 games in any of his first five seasons in the league.

Alper noted that Williams suffered a serious neck injury during the 2015 campaign, "and there was some doubt about whether he would be able to play again."

He appeared in only three games last season and was unsure of his future in December, per Sal Capaccio of WGR 550:

He returned for the preseason this year but didn't last long. During training camp on Aug. 11, Williams collided with wide receiver Dezmin Lewis, and both were hurt on the play.

Despite suffering a concussion, Williams was able to make it back for the season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.

Through the first six games this season, Williams recorded 16 combined tackles without an interception.

When healthy, Williams has shown flashes of being an above-average corner in the league. In 2013, he recorded four interceptions and 82 total tackles as one of Buffalo's best pass-defenders.
