NBA Betting Preview: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors Game 7 Odds

OddsShark.comMay 29, 2016

After climbing out of a 3-1 series hole, the Golden State Warriors will be looking to complete the comeback on Monday night as they play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder as betting favorites for Game 7 of the Western Finals at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

The Warriors are set as seven-point favorites with the total at 218 for the matchup at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark after they topped the Thunder 108-101 as three-point road favorites in Game 6 on Saturday night to even up the best-of-seven set at three wins apiece.

Klay Thompson led the way with 41 points for the Warriors in Saturday's win, including an 11-of-18 performance from three-point range. Stephen Curry was good for 31 points for Golden State in Game 6, with Draymond Green adding 12 points and 12 rebounds on the night.

Kevin Durant scored 29 points and Russell Westbrook contributed 28 points for the Thunder in Saturday's losing cause, which came on the heels of the Warriors' 120-111 win in Game 5 at home as a seven-point favorite on Thursday night. Serge Ibaka (13 points) and Andre Roberson (11 points) also scored in double digits for the Thunder in Game 6.

Oklahoma City won Game 1 back on May 16 by a 108-102 score as a 7.5-point road underdog, with Golden State bouncing back with a 118-91 win in Game 2 as a nine-point home favorite. The Thunder then rattled off two straight wins in Game 3 and Game 4 by scores of 133-105 and 118-94 as 2.5-point and 1.5-point home underdogs.

The Thunder, though, have now failed to close out the series in back-to-back games. Overall, the teams are tied at 3-3 both straight up and against the spread in the Western Conference Finals, according to the Odds Shark NBA Database, with the under paying out for totals bettors at the sportsbooks in four of the six matchups—including Saturday's Game 6.

Tipoff for Monday's deciding Game 7 in Oakland is set for 9 p.m. ET, with the winner moving on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals starting Thursday night. Heading into the week, the Warriors are the favorites at -120 (bet $120 to win $100) on the odds to win the NBA Finals, with the Cavaliers next at +160 and the Thunder third at +600 on those betting futures.
