Adams' Injury Damages Already-Struggling Packers Receiving Corps
In theory, Jordy Nelson's season-ending knee injury should've had a knock-on effect for Green Bay's other receivers last year. If anything, secondary figures such as Adams had more to gain than anybody else.
Yet Adams took only a marginal step forward in 2015. He went from catching 38 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season to recording 50 receptions, 483 yards and a touchdown in his second year.
It would be a stretch to say 2016 is a make-or-break year for Adams, but he should show some signs of improvement on the field. Through five games, he's third on the team with 15 receptions for 218 yards and three touchdowns.
