According to multiple sources, the San Fransisco 49ers have filed charges with the NFL against the New York Jets for tampering with holdout Michael Crabtree.

The 22-year-old receiver who was the 10th overall pick has yet to sign a contract with the team holding out for a big contract similar to that of his fellow draftees.

With no signs of any agreement in the foreseeable future, Crabtree has threatened to sit out the rest of the season and re-enter the 2010 NFL Draft. Despite no official potential charges against Gang Green being released to the public, it's pretty easy to guess on why these allegations have arisen.

It was only a few weeks ago that the Denver Broncos almost cried foul over the Brandon Marshall connection to the Jets, but had no proof. This time, however, the Niners seem to have what they think is suffice evidence to possibly fine the Jets or put their future draft picks in doubt.

And while the team isn't publicly shopping the former Texas Tech star receiver, this whole ordeal could be handled better on the Jets' end if these allegations are deemed viable.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan has already refuted the allegations and only time well tell as the NFL begins their investigation in the coming days.

Whether anything detrimental will happen to the organization remains to be seen.
