Casey Is Linchpin of Titans Defense
Casey has become one of Tennessee's most valuable interior presences on the defensive line. From 2013 to 2015, he recorded a combined 22.5 sacks, looking relentless and unblockable at times, per Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus:
He's drawn the admiration of opposing quarterbacks in the past, as Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer told John McClain of the Houston Chronicle (h/t FoxSports.com) that Casey is "a force to be reckoned with."
This season, Casey has stayed consistent, posting three sacks and 34 tackles through 12 games.
He's a part of a Titans front seven that includes Brian Orakpo, who has nine sacks this season.
Karl Klug has seen more playing time with Casey out. The sixth-year man has started only five games in his career but has recorded two or more sacks in each of his first five seasons, including four last season.
In 2016, Klug has 25 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.
