While Destination X was arguably the best pay-per-view from any wrestling company in 2012, TNA Impact Wrestling dropped the ball with their follow-up episode of their weekly show.
Is TNA falling back to it's old ways?
As long as A-Double is holding the belt, there will be enough intrigue to watch the show, but TNA must bring the rest of their product up to that level.
Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, FL.
When: Thursday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET, new "Rewind" broadcast starts at 7 p.m. ET
Watch: SPIKE TV
Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode
With Bobby Roode calling Austin Aries win a fluke, the longest reigning champion in TNA history has asked GM Hulk Hogan for his rematch. While it will come at the Hardcore Justice PPV next month, Roode wants Aries now.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Why give this away for free?
As much as Roode has been calling for a match against Aries on Open Fight Night, there is little doubt that even TNA wouldn’t be foolish enough to give away their biggest match on TV. There will be a face-to-face scene, but no match will take place.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 A-Double Promos
As much as I love what this duo can do, I hated the promo last week with Roode stuttering because he was so mad. I understand what they were going for, but it was terrible.
The hope this week comes from the fact that both of these men are too good on the mic to let that happen again.

Open Fight Night
While the rules to Open Fight Night are as fluid as the ocean, the concept is a great way to make some interesting Bound for Glory matches and start some new feuds. Now it’s time for TNA to start doing that.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will TNA finally create a few midcard feuds?
Between all the men in the BFG series, there is more than enough talent to make the greatest midcard in pro wrestling today. Stars like Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle and Samoa all need legitimate feuds.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 face-on-face matches
As great as it is to see stars like RVD and Samoa Joe square off, TNA must start building stories behind these matches. The company has the talent to make a deeper card than WWE, but they don’t build stories leading to anything.

Hulk Hogan and Sting
With the Aces and Eights crew beating down on Sting a few weeks back and Hulk Hogan last week, there is a legitimate concern from TNA fans. Not for the safety of the stars, but that Sting and Hogan are closing shows again.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is TNA falling into its old rut?
As much as fans are scared, TNA realizes that Sting and Hogan still sell the casual fan on the brand. With Direct TV’s issues carrying Spike TV, TNA has to get every viewer they can.
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 washed-up veterans
The hope is that this is just a temporary fix to the problem with their carrier and ratings, and Impact Wrestling will start ending with A-Double closing the show with the world title.
It’s true that Hogan and Sting are two of the biggest names in pro-wrestling history and can sell a few fans on their appearance, but the majority of the fans that watch wrestling know it means boring programming. Let’s hope they shake that stigma.
