Welcome to the third edition of The Top 5.

If you missed the first or second editions, feel free to check them out. With each edition, I will present five superstars who best fit the edition's topic.

Today, we have the top five current heels in the WWE today.

As with all of my articles, your comments are welcome and encouraged.

Cody Rhodes

Rhodes is a great heel superstar. He is easy for the average fan to dislike but can still earn their respect with his in ring ability.

I think it is a pretty obvious conclusion that Rhodes will be the top heel in the WWE one day but for now, he is carrying the mid-card division and restoring glory to the Intercontinental Championship.

Chris Jericho

When Jericho returned, everyone was excited for him.

If you assumed that Jericho would be returning as a face, you were sadly mistaken.

Jericho is currently one of the top heels in the WWE and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

Jericho has a great talent for putting people down and slandering other superstars and fans.

All of this makes Jericho a great heel.

Vickie Guerrero

Had I published this article last year, Vickie would have been the guranteed No.1, but the fans still hate her and ring out in a chorus of "boos" whenever she says her patented line "Excuse Me!"

Vickie is a great manager for any heel in the WWE. As Dolph Ziggler's manager, she has carried him to previously unreached heights. Even though Ziggler has faded out of the overall big picture, he is still lurking in the shadows ready to make a move and that is thanks to Vickie Guerrero.

Daniel Bryan

Bryan does what a heel should do. He has no respect for his girlfriend and he cheats to win. Bryan is so good at being bad that he has actually turned the WWE audience to his side.

A heel that actually gets a face reaction is hard to do but Bryan pulls it off.

John Laurinaitis

Is anyone more hated right now than John Laurinaitis?

He continuously bashes CM Punk and John Cena and always bends the rules to his advantage.

Even worse, Laurinaitis has henchmen to do his dirty work. The fans hate someone who abuses their power and they certainly let Laurinaitis hear their disapproval every time he comes out to the ring.

The Top 5 Third Edition

Thanks for reading the third edition of The Top 5. Before I leave you, I will address why some other top heels did not make the list.

The Miz: Miz has faded out in recent months and I don't think he can be considered one of the top heels in the WWE at this moment.

Dolph Ziggler: Same story here as with Miz. Maybe he will be in the top five soon, but not at this moment.

Mark Henry: Once again we have someone who has faded out of any major feuds. Henry has had a great run to date and may get another chance to be involved in a major feud.

Alberto Del Rio: Simply put, there is no room on this list for Del Rio. Who would get replaced?

Lord Tensai: No room for him here. Depending on what he does with Laurinaitis, he will be a major heel in no time.

Leave your comments and debates below. I look forward to reading them.

Stay tuned for the fourth edition of The Top 5 to be published on Monday.
