The NBA has leaked a sneak preview of what the 2012 playoffs may look like, and if your a fan of great matchups and first round games that aren't routes, you'll like what you see.

Now that you've got a look, let's break down some of the more intriguing matchups:

Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic

Could this be the last time we see Dwight Howard in the playoffs with the Magic, albeit on the bench? Honestly, it's hard to even get a handle on the circus that has become that organization, but this series is worth watching if only for that reason.

It will be interesting to see if they can hold it together, or if the team will implode.

On the other-hand we have the Pacers, who are an up and coming young team that is put together well enough to be dangerous this postseason.

One team is on the up-and-up, while the other is falling way down in the East.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Clippers

This is going to be a great series and I wouldn't be surprised if it went the full seven. The Clippers are finally relevant and back in the playoffs led by Chris Paul and superstar Blake Griffin. Anytime those two are on the floor together it's must-watch TV.

The Grizzlies boast some talented players themselves in Rudy Gay and his 18.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game and the other Gasol—Marc.

This is a matchup of two fairly evenly matched teams, which should lead to some very intense play, and of course—highlights.

Potential Matchup I Want to See...

I would love to see the Knicks and Heat match up in the first round. To be frank, I don't see there being any way the Knicks can beat the Heat in a seven game series, but I do think Carmelo Anthony and company do have one or two good games left in them.

At the very least the Knicks can make the Heat sweat (pun intended), and it will undoubtedly be good TV.
