St. Louis Rams and Edward Jones Agree to Naming Rights Extension Through 2025
As reportedย by Amir Kurtovic of theย St. Louis Business Journal, Edward Jones has extended its naming rights agreement for the Rams' home stadium, known now as the Edward Jones Dome, through 2025.
Edward Jones will maintain naming rights on the building that has been the Rams home venue since the move to St. Louis in 1995. ย Edward Jones has possessed naming rights on the EJD since 2002.ย
It could be significant because the deal was negotiated with Rams Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff, according to the above-linked report. ย

The aforementioned report also points out that the annual naming rights fees for Edward Jones will increase from the current cost of $2.65 million per year to $3.85 million per yearโa total of $42.3 million for the 11-year extension, a 45 percent annual-cost increase for Edward Jones.
Coincidentally or not, the Rams' lease, if fulfilled in its current state, runs through 2025 as well. ย
As most of you know, the Rams and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission are currentlyย in lease negotiationsย that could theoretically see the Rams leave St. Louis following the 2014 season or maintain a year-to-year lease in the Gateway City beginning in 2015,ย a laย theย San Diego Chargers.
