The roller coaster ride continues.
From a 2-3 start in which all three losses were by a total of 14 points to a 3-0 stretch, the Philadelphia Eagles have been on a roller coaster ride I'll never forget.
Following their three straight wins, the Eagles hit another bump in the road, going 0-2-1. Losing to their division rival, the New York Giants, tying with one of the worst teams in the National Football League, the Cincinnati Bengals, and getting smoked by the Baltimore Ravens. Wow.
McNabb benched.
I'd like to believe the benching of our quarterback benefited us in the highest way. Following the pine riding of McNabb, the Eagles won four out of their last five games, including wins over the New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals, and Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles had little hope heading into their final regular season game with Dallas.
We needed:
The Houston Texans to win: They did.
The Oakland Raiders to win: They did.
A win over the Dallas Cowboys: We did.
Somehow...some way, the Philadelphia Eagles' ride landed in the final wild card spot. But has the roller coaster ride come to an end?

We're going to send you the most entertaining Philadelphia Eagles articles, videos, and podcasts from around the web.
