Tony Romo Injury: Banged-Up Romo Has New York Giants as Playoff Locks
The unthinkable became a reality on Sunday, after a team that seemed to have the NFC East finally locked up has let it all slip away.
The Dallas Cowboys are now 8-7 on the season, tied with the New York Giants for the top spot in the division.
The teams are now down to a Week 17 matchup for the playoff spot, as the winner between these two teams will move on to the playoffs.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Once in a promising position to enter the playoffs, the Cowboys are now faced with a series of misfortunes.
Losing Tony Romo due to injury in the loss to the Eagles was a significant blow to this team, as his status for next week's final game is still in up in the air.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Romo had X-rays done on his throwing hand, and they came out negative after leaving the game early against the Eagles due to injury. They don't believe bones are broken and will take the injury on a day-to-day basis.
No Romo means an easy win for these New York Giants, as the Giants have won two of their last three games while putting together two of their better defensive performances in their last two outings.
The team's recent victory of the Jets was all the more impressive, as they held the Jets to just 4-of-21 on third-down conversions.
If Romo makes a start in Week 17, don't expect it to be the most efficient of performances, as an injury to his throwing hand will make a difference in his ability to perform.
When it's all said and done, losing three of their last four games and the health of their top-notch quarterback will have these New York Giants playing in the postseason.
