Kevin Garnett Video: Watch Celtics Star Use Bully Tactics

Kevin Garnett has never been known as one of the nicer guys in the NBA. So seeing this video of Garnett using questionable tactics to defend Toronto Raptors forward Andrea Bargnani should not surprise anyone.

Garnett is known as one of the most intense players in the league. However, being intense is one thing, taunting players during a play is another. 

After the game, The Toronto Sun caught Bargnani’s response when he was asked about Garnett’s actions. 

"

"I don’t even think about that,” Bargnani said when asked if he thought Garnett was trying to get inside his head or intimidate him with his antics. “I just think about the game. How can I score on him because he’s a really good defender.”

In fact, Bargnani was complimentary of Garnett despite what appeared to be a direct insult.

It does help that this happened during a preseason game where the outcome had no real meaning. However, if this had been a battle in the first-round of the NBA playoffs, you probably would have seen these two teams come to blows. 

Instead, this highlight is placed in with the rest of Garnett’s other questionable tactics. He will probably have a few more run-ins with other players before this season is over, or before his NBA career is finished. 

For now, the Raptors will brush this off like nothing happened, while Garnett will move on to the next opponent where he can get under their skin. 

Maybe the next time Garnett pulls a stunt like this, he won’t get off so easy.
