FCS Championships: Sam Houston Will Destroy Whoever They See in the Ship

It's unclear who Sam Houston State will be facing in the FCS National Championship and frankly, it doesn't matter.

Whether Georgia Southern or North Dakota State emerge from the other side of the bracket, Sam Houston is going to destroy their opponent and skip to victory with the trophy in hand.

Georgia Southern is no slouch. They put up 21 points on Alabama and are an FCS juggernaut by every measure.

North Dakota State steamrolled Lehigh in a 24-0 shutout win to get to the semifinals, showing off their ability to play lights out defense.

Still, Sam Houston State is in a class all by themselves. Their narrow win over Montana proves they can win in a close game and their 10 consecutive games prove that they have the most ferocious offense in the playoffs.

Sophomore back Tim Flanders rushed for an absurd 287 yards and a touchdown in the Bearkats' win over Montana.

Naysayers claimed that the top seeded Bearkats didn't have the experience to win it all. They're playing beyond their years though and with Flanders running the ball at will right now, the semifinals game between Georgia Southern and North Dakota State is nothing more than a battle for second place.

This is Sam Houston State's year and having a "green" roster won't put a damper on their ability to run the opposition off the field with their explosive offense.

It's going to be a long day for whichever team has to suffer through a loss against the Bearkats in the FCS National Championship, and when it's all said and done, Sam Houston State will leave their critics looking foolish.
