Dashon Goldson Ejection Video: Watch 49ers DB's Thunderous Combo on Early Doucet

Dashon Goldson unleashed a brutal combo on Early Doucet during the San Francisco 49ers' slaughtering of the Arizona Cardinals.

Goldson did it in retaliation, but his closed-fisted punches were certainly enough to warrant an ejection from the officials.

Larry Fitzgerald grabbed Doucet and yanked him away from the action before it had a chance to escalate even further, but the damage had already been done.

Fines are certainly going to be levied, and both players can be expecting to hear from the league.

Doucet smacked Goldson while he was seated on the ground and instigated the entire thing. Both of their bank accounts will be hit from this, as they should.

For Goldson, the result could easily be a suspension. Roger Goodell isn't going to be lenient on Goldson and with the Harbaugh battle that is coming up on Thanksgiving between the Ravens and 49ers, losing Goldson would be a crippling blow.

Swift and harsh punishments are going to be dealt with, and this is the sort of boneheaded move that the 49ers can't afford to make at this point in the season.

They're fighting for home-field advantage and taking part in a scuffle like this puts the 49ers in a tough spot heading into Thursday's game, should Goldson find himself suspended.

They are deep at safety, but this certainly delivers a blow to the team. The 49ers are going to have to bring their "A" game to take down John Harbaugh's Ravens. The fact that they will likely lose a starter because Goldson got caught up in the heat of the moment hurts their chances of coming away with a victory.

Jim Harbaugh is all about bringing the fire, but Goldson's inability to keep it in between the whistles here will undoubtedly irk him.

The 49ers have a championship-caliber team, and as long as they learn from mistakes like this, this sort of mindless behavior shouldn't be a problem.
