Winning in fantasy football isn't all about drafting the best team. Sure, that helps, but finding the right guys to fill in on a week-to-week basis is also very important.

This is the last week where fantasy owners will have to deal with the dreaded bye. But between that, injuries and bad matchups, it's still necessary to get some good temporary guys.

These guys have all the potential to fill that role for you this week

Chad Ochocinco

Anyone who saw the Patriots on Sunday night saw a few good plays from Chad Ochocinco. That doesn't mean that he's back to where he was in Cincinnati, but it shows that he's on his way back.

I like the Patriots' passing offense an awful lot against the Chiefs. Tom Brady will distribute the ball to his weapons, and Ochocinco is certainly one of them.

This may turn into a little more than a one week deal. But for this week, I expect Ochocinco to do quite well for himself.

Maurice Morris

The Panthers' run defense is just abysmal. Running backs have been going for huge yardage totals all season.

I don't know if Morris is quite at the level of some of those guys, but we're not looking for monster performances. No, we're looking for a guy to step in and fill some points.

Morris can absolutely fill that role. Matthew Stafford has struggled in recent weeks, so look for the Lions to focus a little more on the run this week.

That will only increase Morris' numbers.

Kendall Hunter

While Hunter has had a few nice runs this season, Frank Gore is clearly the 49ers' feature back. Okay, that's not a secret.

But he was a little banged up before last week's game and then missed most of the second half there.

The bottom line is that the 49ers need a healthy Gore for the rest of the regular season and then the playoffs way more than they need him against the Cardinals.

So, Hunter is a very natural option to get some extra carries this week. He's shown some big play potential all year. So, look for him to take advantage of that and score a nice game.
