WWE Monday Night Raw: 7 Ways It Can Become a Better Program

As we watch every week, little by little, the excitement of Monday Night Raw is being sucked away.

It needs to stop.

While plot lines and angles keep changing and we see week after week that the creative team builds an angle that changes four or five times before it fails, the only hope is it can get better.

The fans are waiting, and frankly, so am I.

When is it going to happen?

We have gone from a very good CM Punk/John Cena/Triple H story line to an Alberto Del Rio as champion with little real fanfare for a competitive title run while we wait for John Laurinaitis to expose himself as the one behind this "conspiracy".

To be honest, it is as stale as day old bread.

In an effort to make Raw relevant again, and maybe all of the WWE with its branding, its creative team and its focus, these things need to happen for the WWE's top-rated program to be a better brand and a better view on television.

Go Back to Being Two Brands of WWE

I like the concept of the "Supershow" because we see stars on both programs that we would normally not see.

But the lines of branding are blurred and if they are, then wrestlers from either brand should be able to truly challenge for every title.

Either go back to separate brands where only certain wrestlers can challenge for the WWE of World Title or go to one bran altogether and eliminate the confusion.

Bring Back Vince McMahon

The John Laurinaitis thing as acting GM is no good. He is not believable.

And while Triple H is getting better on the mic and looks the part of the "Enforcer", he is better in the ring as a wrestler than as management.

Vince McMahon was really the only one who commanded the respect like both his followers.

Vinnie Mac also does something that both Johnny Ace and Triple H do not do, he garners RATINGS!

Establish a True Tag Team Division

This goes for both brands.

The tag team division was one of the highlights of the WWE brand and the WWF brand as last as the last five years.

We need to see more tag teams, more solid partners and duos that will stick together.

Seeing CM Punk and John Cena tag together is great, but they will not remain mates for long.

Seeing the Uso's or Air Boom or Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler as consistent tag teams and nothing else helps the brand and lets other singles competitors get a chance.

Make the Intercontinental and United States Titles Important Again

They used to be the stepping stones to the world titles. Now, they are treated like a flimsy title.

What a shame.

The Intercontinental Title held by Cody Rhodes should lead him to a match with Mark Henry or Alberto Del Rio.

The same should be said for Dolph Ziggler.

Neither is getting a title push.

Make the belts important again!

Make the Title Runs Longer for the World Champions

Part of the problem is that they title change hands to fast.

The World Title and the WWE Title are traded like stock to contenders.

Let's have some build-up, a chase and a competition for a few months. Remember Savage/Flair or Flair/Steamboat?

The titles deserve some care and the chance to see wrestlers vie for it for a period of time and see it remain on one person, not four in a month.

Give Some Wrestlers a New Look, Personality

Daniel Bryan. Drew McIntrye. Ted DiBiase. Joe Hennig.

They all need a makeover and could be the next set of superstars to transform wrestling.

We saw the beginnings of this with Mason Ryan and maybe someone like a David Otunga.

Bryan and Hennig could be the best of the lot. They need face or heel change. A mentality that they can beat anyone would help.

Get Away from the Conspiracy Angle and Move on

Find a way to get the Rock, Mick Foley and Chris Jericho involved in wrestling again. Maybe Big Show and Kane together again.

Get away from what is not working as far as you can and build on the things that worked. CM Punk/Cena.

Mark Henry as top heel.

The addition of Awesome Truth.

They can make the brand better and can eliminate the negativity.
