San Franicsco 49ers: Niners so Far, Rookies, Releases and a Holdout
So far, the only moves the 49ers have made, look to be dominantly about rookies and releases. Niners desperately need to acquire some new talent to bolster the 49er Faithful. The buzz on Twitter is not friendly.
The Niners have lost the only center with any experience on the team, David Baas is going to the Giants, and fan favorite, Takeo Spikes is gone to San Diego.Ā They re-signed Ray McDonald but not all 49er fans love that idea.Ā There has still been no commitment from Dashon Goldson either.
There has been much buzz aboutĀ Nnamdi Asoumgha coming on board and Nate Clements getting the boot, but nothing has been made official with that yet.

In other Niners news: Frank Gore has decided not to report to camp unless his contract is renegotiated. Apparently he wants an extension.
Is general manager Trent Baalke snoozing or just laying low like a snake in the grass?
If no major moves are made, it will become clear this is about the future and not the present.
Hang in there guys.
