Every year, we plunk down hard earned money to watch the PPV events and each year, we either love them, hate them or want more from them.

Every year, we see the same shows in different locations, pitting the same wrestlers in the ring with different titles on the line.

Interesting, but it still leaves us with questions—like a good story should.

But the more we are engrossed in the same issues week after week and night after night, the more we as wrestling fans need something new, something fresh.

We need different PPV events for both WWE and IMPACT.

While WWE tried its best to create something new with "Capital Punishment," it left us wondering "what if?" and whether or not the creative hierarchy of the WWE had finally dried up.

Hopefully, the actions by CM Punk and the subsequent suspension will add fire to the flame that is waning,

IMPACT, with its changes and its best foot forward has come up with a new series for "Bound For Glory". It simply is the best thing going today and best thing in wrestling over the past few years.

While WWE has held title tournaments and bad great theater over battle royals, etc. IMPACT got it right. Twelve superstars compete over the next three months in a point-based system to determine number-one contender.

These are the reasons why it is brilliant.

Everyone Has a Chance to Win

Twelve men enter and each has a shot to become champion.

Isn't that the way it is supposed to be?

Right now, Crimson leads the pack but that does not mean that The Pope or someone like Samoa Joe cannot come through and win.

The 12 that were chosen were determined to have an equal chance to come out on top.

It Has an Old School Feel to It

This is where the foundations of wrestling come from. Battle Royals, Bunkhouse Brawls. Even the Royal Rumble.

The series is predicated on the fact that series matches are more exciting and leave fans hoping for more.

The series also allows fans to see this in arenas they would not normally get to see an event like this if it were not for PPV.

Controversy Creates Cash

At some point, there will be controversy in these matches.

Whether it was Bully Ray hitting Scott Steiner with a chain for the victory or maybe some other ill-gotten win, this will stir the pot, bring more fans in and make more money for the company.

Lets the Upstart Gain Momentum

Gunner and Crimson are the new guns in this competition and while they have entirely different paths, they are favorites to win.

Gunner is flying high after beating Mr. Anderson and Sting. Crimson has an unbeaten streak. Both figure to be in the thick of this. New faces, means new angles.

New angles mean more excitement and more fan involvement.

Every Match Means Something

Every time opponents step inside the circle, you will get their best.

Never a dull match. Always action and nothing to loss so everything is on the line.

If wrestling was like this all the time, then the ratings would go through the roof.

Face vs. Face and Heel vs. Heel

Now we can see the matches we want to see.

Bully Ray vs. Gunner.

RVD vs. AJ Styles.

These matches are supposed to determine a winner, not a fan favorite. And some of the best matches ever are by guys who root for the same team.

It Will Lead to Something in the Future

Someone will be pissed and feel slighted. Someone will think they should have won.

Maybe the referee costs someone the title. Maybe an injury makes for an interesting finale.

Either way, PPV events lead to more PPV events.

That leads to more rivalries, more stories and greater fan fare.
