Week seven of the NFL season is almost upon us and at this point in the week is the time when you sit there looking at your team trying to figure out what players to sit and what players to start. You even be debating whether or not you want to make that waiver transaction and part ways with a member of your team. Love/Hate this week should ease the struggle you may have as I highlight players that I love and hate in fantasy football this week.
Love Houston Texans passing offense:
Whether you have Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels or even Kevin Walter (who if available in free agency in your league go get him). The Texans have a pretty generous schedule the next couple of weeks starting this week with awful Detroit. Deploy freely.
Hate Bears Running attack:
Minnesota boasts a very good run defense and that doesn't bode will for Matt Forte. If you have nobody else to backup Forte then don't be afraid to play him but if you have other options go in that direction.
LoveChris Johnson and Lendale White:
KC doesn't have much of a defense, more specifically a run defense so look for Johnson to possibly hit the 100 yard mark this week and for White to get a few touches around the goal line for one score maybe even more.
Hate Seattle Passing Attack:
No Hasselback this week again and not sure if Seneca Wallace will be healthy enough to get the start. Whatever the case avoid anybody that throws a ball or catches one on that team. Tampa defense has a resurgence and it's going to be a long day for Seattle.
Love Brett Favre:
Remember the game Brett had vs. Oakland that Monday Night after his father passed away? I would expect much of the same stat wise for Favre this week against an Oakland team that has no spirit left, not to mention Favre has more weapons on this Jets squad then he did at that time with Green Bay, he may not throw for 3td's in the first half but I expect nothing less then 250yds passing and 3td's.
Hate Cincinnati Offense:
No Carson Palmer this week means not much is going to happen on the good side for this Bengals squad, especially against the Steelers defense. Remember when Chad Johnson was a fantasy god? Now at this point he is lucky to get a start on many fantasy football teams.
Love Derrick Ward:
If Brandon Jacobs gets tired, which usually does happen, Ward comes in and is able to be productive. Especially in a Giants rout, which I expect should happen Ward will see a lot of mop up duty in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I see over 90 combined yards and a possible score for Ward this week.
Is anybody really going to watch this game? I'd like to say Ronnie Brown will go off but that Ravens run defense is still tough and there isn't anybody worth playing on the Ravens offense unless you have the Ravens defense, even if you have Miami's defense those two would be better plays then anybody on either teams offense, except of course Ronnie Brown.
