Alisa Kleybanova gives us some tennis advice, through her words about her game. With her second tournament this clay-court season, Alisa arrives with hopes of more wins and success.

Defeating Olga Govortsova with a score of 6-2, 6-2 on Monday, Kleybanova has imparted wisdom to the fans of the WTA tour that follow her. According to (http://wtatennis.com/), Kleybanova converted four break chances, while rolling out a victory on this nascent red-hued clay surface season.

"It would be great if I could keep going like this," Kleybanova said. "It's my second tournament on clay; I was training hard for this week. I really do want to do well here—at the end of the day I practice to play matches, I don't practice just to practice!"

The wisdom of this 5’11”, 22-year-old Muscovite paints a picture of compelling stories. At No. 25 in the world, Kleybanova strives to make it into the upper reaches of the tennis elite.

Alisa has a career .500 percent winning percentage, and has managed her career well to include 2011.

For the past three years, she has been ranked in the top 35. The ranking Hallmark at the end of year standings is important for those of the ATP/WTA tour. Like Pete Sampras who ended the year at No. 1 for six straight seasons, the players use this as a measuring stick to guide their review after each season.

Klebanova’s Web site is: (http://alisakleybanova.ru/en/) where all things Alisa can be found. With a career two titles in Kuala Lumpur and Seoul in 2010, Kleybanova marks off goals with already two behind her and a strives for more before the end of each season.

The full calendar season is ahead for the pros, culminating with the US Open in New York. The tour will again start up in 2012 with the Australian Open.
