UFC 129: Georges St-Pierre Exclusive Round 5 Figure
Round 5, a Canadian toy company that specializes in making opposable, caricature figures of famous MMA fighters has introduced their latest creation.
To commemorate the historical UFC 129: GSP vs. Shields event being held in Toronto on April 30, 2011, Round 5 will be releasing an exclusive Georges St-Pierre figure at the UFC 129 Fan Expo in Toronto this coming weekend on April 29-30.
Expo doors are scheduled to open at 10 A.M.

Tom Ngo caught up with Damon Lau from 5thround.com, who said that only 1000 of the figures were produced, making this sure to be a highly collectable item both now and in the future.
Lau went on to say that, โThe biggest fight in UFC history is happening in Toronto, and as a Canadian company we felt that we had to really give our hardcore collectors something incredible.โ
โWe donโt expect that these will be available for more than a few hours, so if you want one, you should arrive early.โ
The figure will retail for $25 and can be purchased at the Round 5 booth at the expo.
If youโd like to have one, Iโd listen to Lau, as the commemorative figures are sure to sell out in a matter of minutes so, make sure youโre first in line (without harming anyone) if you want to be one of the lucky 1000.
The very cool limited edition figure has the champ sporting the black kimono and lucky GSP headband that he wore for his walkout against BJ Penn before their secondย fight.
The most notable addition to the Round 5 St-Pierre figure is the miniature, die cast replica of the UFC welterweight belt thatโs strapped around the champโs waist.
If you think all of that sounds cool, wait until you hear the best part!
Lau said, โWe will randomly attach โGolden Ticketsโ to the back of select GSP figures, these tickets will entitle the purchaser to have their head scanned, and printed onto an existing Round 5 body,โ Lau said.
โThese figures will be official Round 5 products and will be one-of-a-kind pieces.โ
Ngo says that, Round 5 will have a scanner at their booth and the five lucky golden ticket winners will have their heads scanned and painted before being attached to an existing figureโs body of their choice.
Having your own Round 5 figureโhow cool is that!
I donโt think it gets much better if youโre a fan of Mixed Martial Arts.
