Oakland Raiders: Preseason week 3...Ugh.
Mama said there would be days like this....
But ugh.
a 24-0 drubbing, at home, couldn't have been fun to go see, considering it was in Oakland, of all places.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A few bright spots, that we could bring from it, we picked off their starting QB, Matt Leinhart three times, with our first team defense.
We actually saw Javon Walker, actually saw him play, and actually have a decent game. Sixty yards, not bad.
We saw the defense force a number of takeaways, including two forced fumbles.
Spots that we saw, that we wish we could edit out of life, include going into the red zone twice, coming away with NOTHING...including one field goal kick from Aaron Elling, that clanged off the top of the field goal post...at 25 yards. (Can anyone page Janikowski? We need him back.)
As stated, the Raiders did come out with the determination, to test out our WR numbers...throwing to multiple targets, nine different players caught passes, so we know, there's plenty of options. Russell, for the most part, was decent in the first half, even proving to be difficult to bring down.
At his size, 6'6"...yeah, go tackle a bear, and see how much fun it is.
If anything useful can be taken out of this game, is this: At halftime, it was still, 3-0...if we tweak out the receivers a bit more, get Janik back...this game may have ended a lot better.
Injury questions, would be on O'Neal, was helped off the field after the opening kickoff. Drew Carter, thought to be the third WR option, was helped off the field after a catch early in the first quarter....more updates as news comes back.
Coming up next for the Raiders...a trip to the Pacific northwest.
