Before Scott Niedermayer returned to the Anaheim Ducks lineup, the team didn't look quite right. Teemu Selanne was also missing, meaning two veterans of this team were out of the picture.

When Niedermayer did return, the Ducks began to look like the team that won the Stanley Cup the previous year. The team was 9-2-2 since the return of Niedermayer, and were up against the Dallas Stars this evening.
Anaheim won four-to-two, and Scott registered a goal and two assists. His goal is what Ducks fans will remember most though.
Corey Perry entered the zone, swept a pass to Niedermayer, who tapped it back to Todd Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi then spun and sent a backhand pass to Perry near the front of the net. Perry then sent a one-touch pass to Niedermayer on the other side of the goal for the easy finish.
A beautiful passing play by three players. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it's a great thing to watch. This was my favourite passing play of the year, which is why it makes number seven on my list.
