Why Mike Adamle Does Not Jamaic Me Crazy

As some of you may or may not know, I am good friends with Adam Wright, author of many great articles on this site and others.

However, Adam Wright recently wrote an article on who the potential new GM of RAW should be (which can be read here: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/30862-the-wright-take-who-should-be-named-raw-gm#comment_178613), and it turns out he speculated correctly! (Kudos for calling it by the way).

That is right.  Adam Wright predicted that Mike Adamle would make a good GM because his dim-witted character is funny and entertaining. Now, let me explain why I think Mike Adamle will not make a good GM (sorry Adam).

First of all, I do not think Mike Adamle is a good actor. If he were, then this could potentially work. As it is, though, Mike Adamle is just awkward.

Sure, it is funny to see him in new situations initially, but we are laughing at him not with him, and that sort of funny gets old fast. The fact that Adamle is entertaining is also debatable, although the curiosity factor will at least keep viewers tuned in for a while.

Secondly of all, Mike Adamle is seen as a joke both on WWE television and in the wrestling industry as a whole. Therefore, making him the figurehead of RAW makes RAW a joke by association.

And that is not a good thing. WWE might as well have made The Great Khali the new GM for what it’s worth!

I sincerely hope that I am wrong about Mike Adamle, but for the reasons mentioned above, I can’t see Adamle maintaining this role nor ratings increasing for RAW over the long term.

RAW needs to Jamaic a different person General Manager and quick!
