The Miami Dolphins' first rookie mini-camp of the offseason began Friday, with young veterans, drafted and undrafted rookies, and tryout players all participating in the activities.
Reports from Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald and Brian Biggane of the Palm Beach Post create an incomplete list of all the participants. In fact, Salguero merely lists the players he's observed and suggest you "google them," but why do that when I can break them down for you?
On a side note, rookie fourth-rounder A. J. Edds has apparently been re-assigned No. 49 after initially receiving No. 54 from the team. It looks like someone finally came to their senses and realized that giving out Dolphins great Zach Thomas' number is not a good idea.
Meanwhile, it appears some reports of the Dolphins' undrafted signings were incorrect, and that three players—tight end Dan Beaudin, guard Andy Leavine, and defensive end Vince Oghobaase—were just offered tryouts.
