What Do You Want to See Happen ?

With the draft 9 days 19 hours and 3 minutes away just about every Raider fan die hard to the average one is wondering what Al Davis is thinking at this very moment.

We see many mock drafts and many scenarios and ideas being thrown around daily. Some want a QB some want help on the O-line or on the D-line and some have other areas of need in mind that they think we should address. I for one can't wait to see what talent we bring in and hope each pick can make it through training camp this year. Stryker Sulak a 6th round pick in 2009 was cut pretty quickly last year and didn’t make the practice squad.

Through 404 mock drafts a study has shown 46% of the mocks have the Raiders selecting OT Bruce Campbell with the 8^th overall pick.

This is no mock draft I won't tell you what Al Davis has up his sleeve because I don't have that answer. This is an article on BR (by the people for the people) hence I ask you all what would you do with the 8th overall pick?

1 player 1 name that you think will turn this team around and led us all to the promise land.

I for one would like to see a player come in and fill a void at one of our many holes on the Nations roster.  But this requires more than skill and more than the ability to make a play or two that leaves us saying “wow”.  This pick will require credentials such as a player with toughness and grit. A true leader that will right the ship and be proud to be a Raider and turn this team around, a player that will not give up and never quit somebody that plays with heart, intensity and emotion and even plays hurt when a game is on the line or a playoff berth, a player that is not a player but a soldier and plays for keeps not for a paycheck. Up to now the only player that held all of the above was cut his name was Justin Fargas. I feel this is what we lack, no one player rises above the rest and say's losing is unacceptable! This is Oakland Raiders smash mouth football! And we need to smash some mouths and bring back some fear to playing in Oakland.

 What we need is a people's player, I don't know who that is yet, do you?
