Redskins Pre-Draft Possibilities
Now that the Redskins have traded away their second round pick in order to get Donovan McNabb, they're left with only two picks in the first four rounds and only four picks total.
With an offensive line still needing some starters, let alone depth, and a 3-4 defense missing some true linebackers, the addition of some more picks does not seem out of the question.
But the only way to do that is by making some trades, and here's what I see as some possible moves for the Skins heading into the draft:

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Trade Jason Campbell and the 4th overall pick to Buffalo for the ninth overall pick and either their second or third round pick
This trade helps both teams. The Bills get a starting QB and can take Russell Okung, arguably the best OT in the draft, to improve their offensive line with the fourth pick.
The Redskins can still grab an offensive lineman at the ninth pick, either Trent Williams or local product Bruce Campbell, and can grab either a second lineman or address another need with the second pick they receive.
The early speculation is that Jason Campbell alone would only fetch a fourth or fifth round pick, so by coupling it with the first pick, they end up with the possibility of getting two legitimate future starters.
Trade Albert Haynesworth and cash to Detroit for their second round pick
While this is a highly unlikely move, it would work for both teams.
Detroit Head Coach Jim Schwartz was the defensive coordinator in Tennessee where Haynesworth excelled while working next to Kyle Vanden Bosch, who was recently signed by the Lions.
The addition of cash would be needed in order for the Redskins to be able to unload Haynesworth, but hopefully Dan Snyder can be convinced to cut his losses and eliminate the only person I've ever seen get carted off the field and then return.
The fallout of this move would likely mean that Okung could get picked by the Lions with the second pick, which could hurt the Redskins if they made this move without trading down from the fourth pick.
With the 34th pick, they could grab DT Terrence Cody, a big guy (6'4", 350 lbs.) who might work well in a 3-4 defense as Haynesworth's less expensive replacement. Perhaps they might even grab Tim Tebow if Coach Shanahan feels he's got the potential to be Donovan McNabb's eventual replacement.
There has also been speculation that the Redskins may trade their 2011 first Round pick to Denver for Brandon Marshall, which would certainly give the Redskins their biggest threat at wide receiver and may actually make them a playoff contender, assuming they can amass an extra pick or two in this draft to sure up the offensive line.
Time will tell, and with the surprising move to grab McNabb, I wouldn't say anything is impossible.
