Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – 4/6/10

Ryan LesterApr 7, 2010

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Ben Wallace, Detroit Pistons
Wallace score 18 points with 6 rebounds. This is not a typical performance for Big Ben. His fantasy run appears over.

Marreese Speights, Philadelphia 76ers
Speights scored 21 points against the Pistons. He’s averaging 12.0 points over his past five games.

Jodie Meeks, Philadelphia 76ers
Meeks added 19 points. Perhaps he will get some more run as the Sixers close out their lost season. Don’t add him until he shows some consistency.

Amir Johnson, Toronto Raptors
Johnson had 16 points and 10 rebounds as Chris Bosh left with a broken bone to his face. If Bosh misses any time, Amir could have some value.

Anthony Parker, Cleveland Cavaliers
Parker had 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. He has limited fantasy value.

Reggie Williams & Anthony Morrow, Golden State Warriors
Williams had 18 points while Morrow had 17 and 7 rebounds. Both are strong plays down the stretch.

Nick Young & Shaun Livingston, Washington Wizards
Young had 29 points while Livingston had 21 and 8 assists. Both players’ numbers were bloated because they faced the Warriors, but have played well of late.

JaVale McGee, Washington Wizards
McGee had 25 points and 15 rebounds. He’s averaging 15.2 and 8.4 in his last five games.

Maurice Evans, Atlanta Hawks
Evans had 20 points against Charlotte. His value is increased while Joe Johnson is out.

Earl Barron, New York Knicks
Barron had 17 points and 18 rebounds. If he gets a spot in the rotation, he could have value.

Kurt Thomas, Milwaukee Bucks
Thomas grabbed 14 boards filling in for Andrew Bogut. He could be a decent source for rebounds as the season closes out.

Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks
Ersan added 17 points and 7 rebounds. I imagine he’ll score more with Bogut out.

Jared Jeffries, Houston Rockets
Jeffries had a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) against Memphis. He’s not a fantasy option.

Sam Young, Memphis Grizzlies
Young countered with 16 points. He’s too inconsistent.

James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
Harden had 15 points against the Jazz. Neither team played defense in this one. He’s not a steady threat.

C.J. Miles, Utah Jazz
Miles countered with 16 of his own. He’s a low-end option in daily leagues only.

Antonio McDyess & Garrett Temple, San Antonio Spurs
McDyess recorded a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds). Temple added 15 points Neither are a fantasy option.
