Hey do any of you remember that guy that was compared to hall of fame quarterback John Elway? I think he played for Oklahoma and he was really good? what was his name? oh yeah that right it was Rhett Bomar. If you do remember him than you also remember he was dismissed from Oklahoma not because he was bad (He was really good) but because of an NCAA investigation. He ended up in Sam Houston state he was drafted by the Giants in the 5th round is a 3rd stringer.

But could he be a starter in the NFL? There are teams that have a need at the QB posistion. The St Louis Rams are one of those teams. It might be a risk to try to make a trade for Bomar but when consider the posistion that the Rams are in now it might be risk worth taking. Now I know in my previous article I said the rams should draft Colt McCoy but I started thinking about it a little more and I think that the Could use that second round pick for some other posistion. The Rams also have a WR issue that they need to look at because other than Donnie Avery they really don't have a receiver that can make the huge plays they need.

Rhett Bomar has a rocket launcher of an arm and has some mobility as well. The Rams shoul trade a 4th or a 5th round pick for Bomar. Now a 4th or 5th round pick isn't much to give away but if your the Giants you have Eli Manning & David Carr so why keep Bomar When your not going to start him anytime soon. Also I think the Rams should do this but I think they will.

Rams trade: 5th round pick Laurent Robinson for Rhett Bomar & 7th round pick.

Rams 10-11 season record: 7-9 ( which is great considering how this year went)
