The Season Update: White Sox

Sports BookFeb 13, 2010

Any team, look's good on paper.  Even the White Sox!  I love their roster this year, yes, J-D left the team, and who still hasn`t signed with a team, oh well for him.  But this season Kenny Williams did a very good job.  I don't know who had the best off-season, but I'm sure the White Sox are in the TOP-5 for this season.  I'm going to list most of the "Player Movement" and comment on some.

Re-signed:

C- Ramon A. Castro 800k, 1yr.

John Danks 3.14M, 1yr.  See, I hate one year deals!  I even worte about it maybe a month ago!  It just makes so sence, the player has nothing to look forward to with that team!  Just read what I had and you'll understand. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/327616-handing-out-1-year-deals

Tony Pena 1.2M, 1yr.

See; One-Year deals just make me sick, because it's not fair to the players, and they don't have anything to look forward to with that team!  Just read my article: Handing out 1 Year deals.  Thanks.

Acquired:  (the Best part!)
This is were the White Sox team looks really good.  And why they'll be very good this year, and go deap into the Playoffs.  They got really good hitting, and pitching this year, and they will make a very, very good White Sox team this season.

Andruw Jones OF/DH- $500K, 1yr.  White Sox DH Andruw Jones is reportedly in the best shape he's been in over the last five years, according to The Sports Xchange. Jones hit .214 with 17 homers and 43 RBI in 82 games with Texas last season.

Juan Pierre LF- trade LA.   Pierre, 32, hit .308 with 30 stolen bases, 57 runs and a .365 on-base percentage in 145 games with the Dodgers in 2009

J.J. Putz RHP-  3M, 1yr.

Omar Vizquel SS- 1.37M, 1-yr.  He's gonna be really good this year, everyone already knows.  Do you know how?  A number had to be "un-retired", JUST FOR OMAR!

See; Were gonna be good with Vizquel, J.J., Jones, Pierre... I could keep going here.
