Who's More Overrated: Manning Or Brady?

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. When elite QB's are talked about nowadays, it's always about these guys. Sure Manning has the stats and Brady has the undefeated season and the rings, but in my opinion both are overrated. But which QB is the most overrated?

TOM BRADY He's played for 10 years. In 07, he led the Patriots to a perfect 16-0 season while breaking the record for most passing TD's in a single season with 50. He then proceeded to lose the Superbowl to the New York Giants. Regardless he still has 3 Superbowl rings.

Reason why I say he's overrated is first, he didn't win his first two Superbowls. Both were won by Vinateri's last second field goal but yet Brady seems to get the credit. Lets also not forget that more calls seem to favor him than any QB in the league with the "tuck rule" and the new "Brady rule" being prime examples.

He also seems to get more praise for his accomplishments than say someone like Big Ben. When Brady passed for 6 TD's in 1 qtr against the Titans, the media got all hype about it. But when Big Ben passed for over 500 yards and 3 TD's with no picks becoming only the 3rd QB in history to do so, the media acted like it was no big deal. Had Tom Terrific done it, the media would have had a field day.

PEYTON MANNING He's played for 12 years and is one of the best regular season passers of the league. In 06, he won his one and only Superbowl against the Chicago Bears. This past Sunday he lost the Superbowl to the New Orleans Saints by throwing the game clinching pick to Tracy Porter which was returned for a 74 yard TD.

Reason why I say he's overrated is because while he may be putting up excellent numbers in the regular season, the same doesn't carry over into the postseason. He has a meager 9-9 postseason record and a 1-1 Superbowl record. Everyone talks about how he's so great and possibly the greatest ever but yet he only has 1 ring and a mediocre post season record. If you only have 1 ring in 12 yrs how can you be considered the greatest QB ever? See what I mean?

As an extra fact both QB's had a chance to be the greatest QB ever and failed. Brady blew out his knee in 08, but it wasn't his fault so I'll give him his props, and Manning went and choked in the Superbowl and threw a pick 6.

If you want my pick it's Manning. Who's yours?
