Brett Favre Or Brett Farve? A Story About a Bandwaggon
In an era where facebook and twitter have reached millions and millions of followers, sport fanatics such as me use these networking sites to debate sports. I couldn't help to notice that one of the trending topics on twitter was Brett Farve. If your like me, and have known how to spell his name since the days when he was handing the ball off to Dorsey Levens then this misspelling too would jump to your eyes.
I know about 30 people that last year randomly fell in love with the Cardinals, and this year those same people fell in love with the Vikings and went out to buy Brett jerseys.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Why I ask? Oh, let me guess. The hall of fame quarterback with one of the top 2 running backs in the league backed up by the Williams brothers and a stellar defense, right? No, wrong. You know what the real reason is? "Because they are winning".
Out of the closet come these Browns, Raiders, Bills, and fans of such category to root for a winning team.
What bothers me the most about it? Whether they win or lose, they celebrate or react as if they've been fans since the Culpepper and Moss times.
Were they there even see Tavaris Jackson and Frerotte snapping balls last year? No.
If most of these bandwagonning fans can't even spell a hall of famers last name right, what makes them deserve our respect?
There's always reason for why I want a team to win, but that doesn't involve me going onto Vikings.com and ordering a foam finger and car flag.
So please, if you bandwagon everytime playoffs come along, atleast do some research on the team, and learn the correct spellings of a HALL OF FAME quarterback. Maybe learn who calls the plays from the booth and put on the front that you've been a fan since before John Madden had a video game named after him.
If you can't do that, just shut up!
