Sound familiar?
Cowboys fans might say so. Every year they seem to bring a different sort of attack, but when they lose their last game none of it really matters.
Where do they go from here? A change is necessary at this point, but who do you look to when you're winning everything but the big one? Oddly enough, I think JJ might be lost on that.
Here's who I have as candidates:
Lovie Smith
Mike Sherman
Nick Saban
Bill Cowher
Bill Parcells (?)
As for Lovie, he's had success in Chicago when the talent's been there. He might be a better fit for Dallas than some think. He relies on a stout D and as long as the offense isn't making mistakes, his team will win.
Mike Sherman is just the simple pick. He's at A&M now and had small bits of NFL success, but is a strategist who is going to figure something out if he gets his hands on Tony and Felix Jones
Nick Saban is one of the hottest names in coaching right now, and this hire would just be the epitome of Jerry Jones' soul. He'll do anything to win, and he doesn't care what he has to pay to do it.
Bill Cowher is sort of obvious in that he's a natural born winner and EVERYBODY has wanted him for the last three years.
Parcells is a last resort, and even then I'm pretty sure he'd never head back to Dallas. I just needed a name to round it out to five.
