San Diego Super Chokers, San Diego...CHOKERS!!!

I could hear the Jets fans from across the street. What an unbelieveable game.

This is a game where I believed the chargers could wrap it up by halftime and just walk away. A game where even I believed the Jets stood no chance.

The hottest team in the league chilled out today when they faced an Ice Cold Jets defense with steady rookie Mark Sanchez. They cooled this team down, shocking them and possibly the entire NFL as well 17-14.

Sanchez's numbers weren't up today, only throwing 11-for-23 for 100 yards and a touchdown, and throwing an interception as well. He did his job, Managing the game as best as he could and letting his defense do the rest.

The real star is Shonn Greene, rushing for 123 yards on 23 carries, outrushing Ladainian Tomlinson, who only ran for 24 yards on 12 carries and no touchdowns.

The Jets Defense was suffocating today, ultimately stopping the run giving up a combined 57 yards from Tomlinson and Sproles. They also sacked Rivers twice, forcing a fumble on one of them.

Philip Rivers has no blame, He Played a Fairly good Game 27-for-40 with 298 yards, a Touchdown and 2 interceptions. Unfortunately, it was those 2 interceptions that matters.

The real story is what happened with Nate Kaeding today? He went 0-for-3 on his field goals today that if made could have sent the Chargers into overtime, or even have won the game. Too bad in football, there's no room for what ifs.

I really said the Jets had no chance, I honestly did. But what Can I say, They Beat the Super Chargers, and are going to the AFC Championship Game against the Colts.

If the Jets keep playing stifling defense and Sanchez keeps playing managable football, The Jets very well could go to the Super Bowl.

And this is coming from a Patriots fan.
