Michael Vick: Reasons Why He Should Be a Washington Redskin in 2010
For those faithful Redskins fans out there that are still clinging to the fact that maybe one day Jason Campbell is going to find his arm and start guiding the Redskins to some victories, think again.
What turned out to be a dismal 4-12 season, got me thinking that maybe Jason Campbell is the problem in Washington. At the moment, his stats aren't bad. 3,618 yards on the season with 20 touchdowns isn't bad for a quarterback that has had his fair share of heartache in his NFL career.
Stats are all well and good, but Campbell struggles to get the job done. He almost resembles that licensed electrician that turns up to your house, starts the job, but ends up leaving an hour early to go home and supposedly "come back tomorrow".

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Therefore, it's time for a new quarterback. With a new coach, and possibly some great new draft picks, a new quarterback would suit the Redskins explosive offense just fine.
Maybe not too new of a quarterback though. Maybe someone with experience, and someone that has an arm. Maybe someone like...Michael Vick?
In the weeks that Vick has played under center for a decent amount of time in Philadelphia, the Eagles have been able to maintain stability and score points. The quarterback duo thing that the Eagles have going on is working, and much of it is to do with Michael Vick's patience to wait his turn.
Saturday night against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild card fixture, Michael Vick did play, and he did score a touchdown on his first pass of the game. Watching his left arm fling that ball down field is a thing of beauty—and something that the Washington Redskins could do with.
At the moment, Vick's stats aren't proving great, but he has had to sit out for the majority of many games, so you can't really judge him on that.
One thing that the Redskins could benefit from Vick is the combination of run and pass. Like many younger up and coming quarterbacks in the league, Michael Vick has always had speed to his advantage. Playing in the NFC East with speedy defensive lines, this could be a key for the Redskins offense when the pocket collapses.
At the moment, this is merely just a creative thought, something to keep in mind. Recently Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid claimed "McNabb will be my starting quarterback next year". With that kind of statement, it looks like Vick will be spending another season on the bench.
If Vick comes a knocking though, the Redskins may be wise to at least consider him.
