Shanahan, Redskins Agree
After Finishing last place In the NFC East two years in a row, The Washington Redskins are in need of major roster changes. Its already known that Mike Shanahan will be the Washington's head coach when the 2010 NFL season begins, But In order for the Washington to Win a fourth Super Bowl in the teams history Shanahan will have to clean house and get back to Washington Redskins Football.
Jason Campbell? This is Campbell 5th season now, and he has never lead Washington to the playoffs once.Campbell is a free agent and the Redskins could try to make an offer to retain him, But Shanahan may want to draft and develop his own quarterback as he did in Denver with Jay Culter.

Cliton Portis? Portis has been productive over the last couple of years, However Portis only had 494 yards rushing this year with only one touchdown. Portis was shut down in Week 9, after suffering a concussion against the Atlanta Falcons. Portis Is very familiar with Shanahan, for two seasons in Denver Shanahan coached Portis, but traded him in 2004 for corner back Champ Bailey.
Offensive Line? The offensive line has been a problem for years now, every year a key starter goes down. This year Chris Samuels and Randy Thomas both suffered season ending surgeries and both of them are probably considering retirement. The line probably will be Shanahan biggest challenge.
Washington will have a ton of work to do this off-season, as they get prepared for the 2010 NFL season.
