Dating back to 2002, The New York Jets have been very unpredictable and inconsistent. Adding to their very long history was a victory on Sunday over the undefeated, 23 straight wins, Indianapolis Colts. This, coming right after a very upsetting defeat by a mediocre Atlanta Falcons team, who were 7-7 at the time. They lost on three missed field goal attempts, two were missed and one snap being bobbled.

The New York Jets have had a very rough road so far this season; though their record doesn't quite show it. This team not only from year to year have been inconsistent, but from game to game. They are now able to redeem themselves.

They start off an impressive 3-0, then go on to lose 6 of their next 7 (4 of those loses were division games)!!!! This was sure to prove 2009 was an unsuccessful season. Then they win 4 out of their next 5, the loss being against the Falcons and one of those wins consists of defeating the Colts. Becoming the first rookie quarterback to lead their team to 3-0, then almost leading the league in interceptions, a big reason for this rollercoaster ride of a season is Mr. Mark Sanchez, our unpredictable quarterback. He had a very good game against the Colts on Sunday, let's see if he can do something "consistently" for once this year.

Now that I have given you some background info and proof of their past, I think it might come back to haunt them next week against the Bengals. With the Bengals being the favorite, the Jets will definitely have to try harder to pull off the David vs Goliath win like they did this week, which will hopefully motivate them enough to come out the victor. We have the number 1 defense in the National Football League. But, to make this a consistent team, our offense needs to produce as well on a weekly basis. The Jets control their own destiny, but with history against them, it will be a big question and challenge for the Jets on January 3rd at The Medowlands. I am trying to convince my mom to buy me tickets. Anyways, as a fan, I hope they rewrite their history and make a nice playoff run. LETS GO JETS!!!!
