Week 15 is in the books of the 2009 NFC West Featured-Columnist Competition.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the competition, click here for details, and please keep checking back for updates throughout the year.

The NFC West may have had its worst week of the year on Sunday. Seattle was embarrassed at home by the miserable Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco was trounced by Philadelphia, St. Louis lost to Houston, and Arizona barely escaped with a win against Detroit...Not a good week for the NFC West.

Here are the results and honors from Week 15.

Pick of the Week: Chris (Dallas over New Orleans)

Only one man in this competition believed that New Orleans' perfect season would end on Saturday night. This man prevailed, and scored Underdog Bonus points as a result.

Dallas has choked in December for the past few years, but Chris foresaw a change on Saturday, and was the only one to get this pick right.

Good pick, Chris.

Fail of the Week: Andrew, Chris, Seth, and Steven (Washington over NY Giants)

Anyone who watched this game understands why this choice is the fail of the week. Had Washington won, somehow this wouldn't even have been upset picks (no one would have known, but that is still astonishing that four people picked it).

I'm not sure what was worse, Jason Campbell's freebie pick six, or the nasty "Swinging Gate" fake field goal (twice!) at the end of the first half.

It was ugly, and four guys somehow went with Washington in this matchup.

The Underdog Maintains! Three Successful Underdog Bonus Picks

The Underdog Bonus stuck around...kind of.

Chris (Dallas over New Orleans and Pittsburgh over Green Bay) and Rob (Pittsburgh over Green Bay) were the only two to cash in on the Underdog picks, with Chris landing two of them this week.

It was a good showing for the Underdog.

Hot Streak: Rob (Four First Place finishes in the Last Five Weeks)

Rob got the "Hot Streak" nod last week, and responded by earning sole possession of first place in Week 15 as well.

During this streak, Rob has pulled away in first place on the season, now ahead by four points with only two weeks to go. Pending a collapse, Rob should clinch the season long individual crown.

Good work, Rob.

Struck Out Swinging: None

There were a number of low scores in Week 15, but no single contestant stood out from the crowd with a terrible performance.

I guess that's a small victory for the crowd!

Good week, guys.

That's it for Week 15. Chip in on what you think.
