The current superbowl champion Steelers are struggling as of late losing their last four games. It is doughtful to see them again in the big game. So you have to look at the field with the stunning season of the Saints and the Brett Farve of old Vikings, oh do not forget about Peterson as well. In the NFC, those two teams have a very good chance of going all the way. Some may say that might be the superbowl if they meet in the NFC championship game.

However, flying under the radar as always are the Indianapolis Colts. Most of the time the sports casters are caught up in talking about anything other than the Colts. It could be because they just might not think they are as good as they are. Oh yeah they do have the raining MVP Peyton Manning. He may not pull a Drew Brees with a so called perfect game, but he simply goes about is business and gets the job done. He is a very low profile player who does not want all the spot light. Peyton is developing poise on the field and he gets those "happy feet" going to get in his groove. With his team against the ropes in the 4th quarter multiple times this year. He somehow marches his team down the field to win the game.

His offensive team looks a little bit different this year then it has in the past. With no more Manning to Harrison that the Colts fans are always used to seeing. Manning has a new number one target in Reggie Wayne. Wayne has always been Manning's number two guy, but with this being his first year with the main spot he is more than producing. Wayne is in the top WR in the game today. I would put him up there with Moss, Ochocinco, Fitzgerald. He may not have the name and many people will disagree. If you watch him play he makes more outstanding catches than almost anyone else. To go along with Wayne, Clark, Garcon, Addai, Collie, Gonzalez. Those are players that run under the radar but produce when needed.

With the superbowl being in Miami again this year, its only fitting that the Colts defend their superbowl title in Miami. They have a legit shot to getting back to the superbowl and winning. As long as number 18 is in the back field and 87 is going deep, this is going to be tough for anyone to contest. However it can be done, it just has not happen yet this year and may not!
