All you Raiders news junkies(including myself) will be searching the web for every little drop of news we can find during this long bye week.

The bye week brings the chance to heal all wounds both physically and mentally. It is very much needed coming to this week being 2-6 for the season.

I myself, would have thought that the Raiders would be in a much better position with a much better record.Injuries, rookie mistakes, bad calls(please see my article on http://bleacherreport.com/articles/267331-is-it-time-for-full-time-referees)and off field distractions have not helped the Raiders in this first half of the season.

The players are eager to get back to playing already. They are happy Gallery,Schilens,McFadden and Green will all be back in the lineup for the next game against KC.

This is a huge boost for this team in it gives them the time to gather there thoughts, heal, and spend some needed family time.

Remember,Faith,Family,and Football!

This will only help this team refuel for a most important attempt at a run for the last half of the season.

I don't know about you,but I myself would dearly miss my own family for 4 months and would welcome the chance to see them again.

It definitely would give me a much needed sense of excitement.

Speaking of family:Gallery is a brand new proud father! His wife had there baby on Monday. The Raiders have missed Gallery dearly since he went down with a broken leg and the record shows it.You don't really know how much you miss a key player until they are gone.

Another proud Father is Samson Satele! He and his wife just had there second child!Samson also secured his job at center meaning it's his to lose. For 4 weeks he couldn't get the O-line calls right and Cable replaced him with Morris.

Satele has stepped up and learned his job.He now is running the show on the O-line and it can only get better with Gallery coming back.

Green hasn't been on my list of play makers and when healthy, has hindered JaMarcus's play by committing way too many false starts or holding calls.

I'm not so sure I'm happy he's almost back into the line-up.He does do an excellent job of zone blocking, but he must improve his play at pass blocking immensely.

Schilen's coming back into the line-up is also huge. The Raiders have desperately needed him as a wide receiving threat, because Zach Miller is the only sure option the Raiders have had recently.

Now to the Play makers!

Zach Miller:He constantly makes plays and has been such a welcome surprise since we drafted him.Mr Reliable!Great hands,Great Blocks, and always is a great option for Russell!

Tyvone Branch:2nd year addition has been stepping up and making some great tackles and hits. His 1st year was hindered by a broken hand, but that didn't stop the rookie last year from still playing.Healthy this year,he has great play and is really improved from last year.

Samson Satele:He lost his job to Chris Morris for his lack of understanding of the offensive line calls and was benched for it.He nows understands it and has the calls down.Samson says he has to improve his technique.

Matt Shaughnessy:What a game he had against the Chargers. He was constantly putting pressure on Rivers and came up  with a sack for his effort.

Mario Henderson:Ever since he took over the position last year,Mario has continued to do a great job.He has had his moments, but all in all he has done a good job week in and week out.No penalties and shutting down premier pass rushers.

Justin Fargas:He is a team player who was quietly in the background and when called upon, responded with attitude and drive. He always keeps those legs going and pounds the rock with force.A great example of "Raider Football".

With a rest half way through the season,The Raiders are going to come back and respond with attitude and force(like Fargas runs). They are going to be rejuvenated, refreshed, and ready to make there best run.

The bye couldn't have came at a better time, but they now have to be able to not just win 1,but to be able to get on a winning streak.

Kansas City better be ready, because i know our Raiders will be.
